Maestro y Doctor en Ciencias con Especialidad en Matem\u00e1tica Educativa por el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico Nacional (Cinvestav-IPN), M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>Su l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n involucra comprender el desarrollo del pensamiento matem\u00e1tico bajo la perspectiva te\u00f3rica de la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas y el uso de tecnolog\u00eda digital.<\/p>\n<p>Ha publicado y arbitrado trabajos en congresos internacionales como: Psychology of Mathematics Education of North America (PME-NA), Conferencia Interamericana de Educaci\u00f3n Matem\u00e1tica (CIAEM), International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI), Reuni\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Matem\u00e1tica Educativa (Relme).<\/p>\n<p>Colabor\u00f3 en el dise\u00f1o de cursos en l\u00ednea auto-dirigidos para UNICEF, coordinado por la Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n Media Superior y Cinvestav-IPN.<\/p>\n<p>Es miembro de la Sociedad Mexicana de Investigaci\u00f3n y Divulgaci\u00f3n de la Educaci\u00f3n Matem\u00e1tica (SOMIDEM).<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente es profesor-investigador y coordinador de la Licenciatura en Docencia de la Matem\u00e1tica, en la Facultad de Pedagog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n Educativa de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Baja California, Campus-Mexicali, M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>\u00daltima publicaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<p>Santos-Trigo, M., <strong>G\u00f3mez-Arciga, A<\/strong>. &amp; Reyes-Mart\u00ednez, I.
