Posee un doctorado en Curr\u00edculo y Ense\u00f1anza de las Matem\u00e1ticas de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, una Maestr\u00eda en Ciencias con especialidad en Matem\u00e1tica Aplicada de <em>Purdue University<\/em> y una Licenciatura en matem\u00e1ticas de la Universidad Pedag\u00f3gica Nacional de Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>Ha sido director de proyectos de desarrollo profesional de maestros de matem\u00e1ticas y ciencias y para el mejoramiento de los futuros maestros de matem\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p>Es coautor de varias publicaciones sobre soluci\u00f3n de problemas, historia de las matem\u00e1ticas, razonamiento matem\u00e1tico y el uso de la tecnolog\u00eda en el aprendizaje de las matem\u00e1ticas.
